I loved the incredible location of this hotel, although it was a bit secluded. The rich history of this place was really fascinating - it used to belong to the famous architect family 'Niermans'. The hotel facilities were outstanding and the staff was very courteous. The transportation was also good, it took me about half an hour to reach nearby cities like Carcassone and Lagrasse. I relished the delicious breakfast served.

The location is breathtaking, set in the heart of nature with a stream running at the back. It's close to two beautiful towns, perfect for exploring. Learning about the historical significance of the property blew my mind! It was the heritage of an extremely famous architect's family, which added a sense of character to the place.

The basement apartment doesn't do justice to the grandeur of the architectural achievements of the family, and it looks a bit tired. the space is dark, and the lights need to be on even during the day.

Located in a stunning region, the hotel's surroundings allow for picturesque day trips to nearby Carcassone and Lagrasse. the property's rich history adds allure, especially for architecture buffs. Despite being in the basement, the rooms still offer a comfortable stay with necessary amenities within reach.

The swimming pool could use better upkeep to take full advantage of the charming outdoor setting.

Almost perfect

The accommodation was set in stunning grounds and had an impressive history - it was owned by a family of famous architects. The location was scenic, although a bit remote, with easy access to Carcassone and Lagrasse - about a half-hour drive. the apartment was spacious and had a unique charm to it.

On the flip side, we weren't very satisfied with the apartment since it was located in the basement. It didn't capture the grandeur of the beautiful architecture of the estate, and the lighting was dim and dreary.
